Towards achieving my aim I started looking at various forums, subscribing to various internet marketing gurus mailing lists and buying a lot of products online. These products will always talk something like – a loophole will make you $abcde…, 3 clicks and your server will be down by traffic or some such thing. In that process I also burnt a lot of my money but nothing happened. I bought one product from a person on a Friday night who promised me that money would be pouring into my account by Tuesday morning. Come Tuesday – but nothing happened in my account. I contacted that person and he said we need to do advertising on Yahoo, MSN, Google and then money will come in to the account. So I paid him $500 but after that he said more money is required. The story continued but nothing happened in my account. Finally I gave up, lost the money and also the time during this process.
That’s when I decided that I will not fall to scams henceforth. I do not believe in products which offer a quick solution or get rich overnight promises. I found that internet marketing is a science to be learned and then applied meticulously. I learned about Affiliate Marketing, PPC, traffic driving methods, SEO and more and started applying these techniques. Slowly I have started seeing results of these.
